This course provides the students with the background knowledge of architecture and organization of computer, as well as the basics of computer design. Main course content includes: Introduction on modern computers system and computer performance; digital logic basics and computer arithmetic, Instruction Set Architecture; Processor; Computer Memory; Input-output System; and Parallel Processing.

After completion this course, students are expected to have the ability to optimize software development and in the system integration to improve computer performance, effectively exploit and manage computer systems.
